Dealing with Depression Resources

What most people associate with depression is a feeling of gloom or sadness, but there is a much more important set of symptoms to keep in mind: depression is usually accompanied by a “slowing down” of the body. A profound lethargy or fatigue is probably a more important signal that you have succumbed to depression than whether or not you feel profoundly sad.  Read more from Focus on the Family

Kurt GoffWith the recent retirement of Mike Kellogg, host of Music Thru the Night, we welcome Kurt Goff to the wee hours of the morning.

Kurt is a broadcasting veteran with a pastor's heart.  He is a graduate of Texas Christian University.   He and his wife, Liz, have two sons.

Kurt Goff Live can be heard from midnight until 5:00 am Monday through Friday mornings (replacing Hope in the Night (June Hunt) and Music Thru the Night). Roger Basik will still host Music Thru the Night from 1:00 am - 6:00 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We put our trust in Christ alone for the forgiveness of our sins, desire to please God with our life, and yet, we often find that something crucial is missing. Our day-to-day experience of faith lacks the vitality we know it should have. We feel like we're missing something and we probably are. We're probably missing Jesus.

Resisting Gossip -- Winning the War of the Wagging Tongue

squaremattgossipjpg“Hey, have you heard about…”

Gossip. It’s on Facebook, on the television, in the break room, and yes, even in our churches. With gossip being so prevalent in our culture, it can be hard to resist listening to and sharing stories about other people’s business. But what does God say about gossip? And is it possible to follow His instructions?

In Resisting Gossip, you will learn not just the scriptural warnings against gossip, but how the truth of the gospel can deliver believers from this temptation. Questions for group discussion are also available for your study.
